At Musgrave Agencies Ltd. our land development division specializes in large-scale residential neighbourhoods, multi-family developments, adult communities, and commercial/retail developments.

Our strong history has helped Musgrave Agencies Ltd. grow into one of the largest and most respective companies in our community. In 2006, Musgrave Agencies Ltd. received the Chamber of Commerce “Business of the year Award”. Our in-house team rages from construction managers, registered architect, a planning and design group, marketing staff, project managers for both building and civil construction, accounting staff and the leasing/operating department. Over the last ten years we have diversified our design team in applying architectural controls to our projects is solely managed out of our office. In addition our in house interior design and co-ordination team has added that final professional touch which has been very complementing in turning over the final completed project. Above and beyond the thirty staff member we maintain a solid core group of subcontractors whom are some of the most reputable and professional in the industry. With their flexibility, we are able to have them work biprovincially on many of our projects outside of Lloydminster.

 

In 2007 our Musgrave Agencies Hospitality Inns and Suites in Lloydminster received the highest rating in the Hotel Association of Canada’s top green key program. Only two other hotels in Canada received this honor. (Globe and Mail Friday April 20, 2007) Environment policies are very important in all aspects or our business, especially our hospitality division.

 

Fortunately we have been in business for a long time and have seen a lot of changes in the markets as the economy goes up and down. The task at hand is to remember that things are never as good or bad as they seem. We keep a building permit graph on the wall at all times to remind us that for every up there will be a down.

 

In the creation of our neighbourhoods we have found the key to our success is the relationships we have formed over the years. From our builders we sell to and the trades we use, we have been fortunate to develop a great team most of which we have worked with for over 25 years. With our key trades that work with us in land development, we have not needed to ask for a Bid in over 20 years. In years like 2007 / 2008, teamwork is what helps gets it built. You will find our corporate logo and the Musgrave name on every project constructed.
